the Single Vineyard tasting

A focussed experience - enjoy an in-depth view of the wines upon

which we founded TarraWarra Estate - our Single Vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir varietals.

You’ll be seated and guided through the vintage conditions, aspects, altitudes, soils, and clones for each wine.

The tasting is accompanied by a small cheese plate. $30pp.

We are pleased to say that the Eva and Marc Besen Centre is now open. This purpose-built centre was designed by Kerstin Thompson Architects, with landscaping by OCULUS. Plenty of free parking is available for your visit, including dedicated EV charging stations. Bike racks are also available on-site for visitors arriving on two wheels.

Estate vineyard tour and tasting

Meet in the cellar door. Tour of the vineyard from B block on the western side to Watts Point.

26 hectares of cool climate, early ripening varieties along with some Italian favourites.

Private tasting in the barrel hall, if not too icy or our private tasting room.

Taste a selection of our Chardonnay and Pinot Noir providing an in depth understanding of our site –

soils, aspect, altitude, rainfall and the way we care for our patch of dirt.

Finish with a selection of charcuterie and a glass of your favourite.

CELLAR DOOR

Our subterranean Cellar Door first opened in 2016, and has been designed by Kerstin Thompson Architects to give our guests a unique insight into the wines and story of TarraWarra.

WINE STORE

Browse through our delicious range of current releases, specials and some excellent back vintage wines. Many wines are only available directly through our wine store in very limited quantities.

TarraWarra Estate acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation as the original custodians of the lands and waters on which the Estate stands, and pay our respect to their Elders past, present and emerging.

‘Tarrawarra’ is a Woiwurrung word that translates approximately as ‘slow moving water’ and is the name given to the area in which the Estate is located within the Yarra Valley.

Legend has it that the term ‘Tarrawarra’ refers to a bend in the nearby Birrarung (Yarra River), which courses from the Yarra Ranges through to Melbourne, flowing south of the Estates expansive grounds.
