WHAT'S ON

One Day at TarraWarra Estate

Experience the Yarra Valley and all that it has to offer by spending one day with us.

The morning will see you taking in the 26 hectares of vines across the Estate and understanding the soils, the climate, the altitude and all that contributes to our premium quality grapes and wine.

You will then spend time in the cellar door, tasting 6 of our current and museum Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

This tasting is the perfect introduction to lunch in our One Hat Restaurant. Maxwell and his team will provide you with snacks and three courses that reflect our sense of place and highlight our wines.

Finally, it is time to walk across to the TarraWarra Museum of Art to indulge in the latest exhibition and also the newly opened Eva and Marc Besen Centre, where 300 pieces of Australian Art are on display for us all to enjoy.

Cost is $185 per person. This day is available from the 10th – 30th September 2025.

Vineyard Open Day

After a mild winter and still needing some rain, our minds do think ahead to spending more time outside rather than in.

With this in mind, we are opening our Vineyard at TarraWarra Estate for all, on Sunday 26th October you will be able to walk and learn about our vineyards.

Taste our current vintages where the fruit is grown and see behind the curtain to where it all happens, in the soil.

Chris Beard, Viticulturalist and Stu Sissins, Vineyard Manager will spend time with you explaining what happens in the vineyard to produce the best grapes we can grow from this site.

You’ll then sit down on the deck and enjoy our interpretation of the great Yarra Valley BBQ. The restaurant team will be donning their aprons and preparing a feast all cooked in the great outdoors.

Estate wines will be poured, and friends will be made. So, gather a group and book here for your places.

MSO Ensemble Concert

Saturday 6 December 2025, from 6:30 pm

On this special evening, an ensemble from the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (MSO) will perform in the new auditorium of the Eva & Marc Besen Centre—an acoustic experience that promises to be unforgettable.

Curated by MSO Section Viola Aidan Filshie, the program will featureMendelssohn’sString Octet in E-flat major, Op. 20—a masterpiece of chamber music and one of Mendelssohn’s most celebrated works. Written in 1825 for four violins, two violas, and two cellos, the piece was groundbreaking in creating the genre of the string octet. Each instrument plays its own part, coming together “in the style of a symphony.” Renowned for its brilliance, youthful energy, and mesmerising character, the Octet runs for 30 minutes—perfect for this intimate performance.

With only 60 seats available, this exclusive package includes dinner in the TarraWarra Estate restaurant, with return transport from Melbourne organised for your convenience.

We look forward to welcoming you to TarraWarra Estate for an evening of world-class music, fine wine, and exceptional food and hospitality.

Proudly a supporting partner of the MSO and the joy they bring to all.
