Safe Tasting & Dining

Safe Tasting & Dining

Our priority is the health and well-being of our guests, staff and suppliers.

So we have in place a number of measures to minimise the spread of infectious diseases. You can also assist us in keeping our cellar door & restaurant safe and we encourage you to note the following initiatives

Air Flow

Our venue is spacious with naturally good air flow. When the weather permits we will open doors to further aid air flow with our air conditioning providing additional fresh air.

Cleaning and Hygiene

Our hygiene standards are best practice and include provision of handwash and sanitiser for guests and staff. We have regular cleaning procedures for all high touch points and conduct a full clean of the cellar door and restaurant daily.

Arrival at our cellar door, deck and restaurant

Currently, our neighbours TarraWarra Museum of Art are building the Eva and Marc Besen Centre. This purpose-built centre, designed by Kerstin Thompson Architects together with landscaping by OCULUS, will be located on the site of the Museum’s upper carpark and will open to the public in 2025.

The restaurant and cellar door have continued to operate during the building works. We aim to make your visit to our venue as simple and pleasant as possible, as the upper car park will be closed, we recommend that you allow an additional 10 minutes to make your way from the lower car park to the venue. The left driveway is currently not in use for those who wish to walk to the restaurant, cellar door or museum from the car park.

Your best option is to call the museum on 5957 3100 to arrange for a curtesy bus to transport you. If you wish to take in the surrounds for a leisurely stroll, please follow the driveway to the right beneath the poplar trees.
